Our clients deserve to have the home that all the neighbors envy. The home that's pulled together, invokes a sense of good living, and provides eye-catching comfort to all. That's an Inside Outlook home.
Inside Outlook Drapery was founded by Kathy & Emil Mergel in 2004 after our years of experience in the St. Louis fabric industry. We saw many of the products becoming "cookie cutter", with no real design expertise and service that just wasn't there. We set out to change all that, and create a custom experience for our clients - one that would begin with the first call, and would continue for the life of the home through the window coverings and upholstery it boasted.

Meet founders Kathy & Emil Mergel
A designer, a seamstress, a woman determined to serve customers and achieve 100% satisfaction, Kathy Mergel began sewing as a young girl. As she matured, so did her love of fabric, along with her ability to pull a room together using her keen eye for style and design. It quickly evolved into her passion - her career - and led to the founding of Inside Outlook Drapery. Kathy's husband Emil embraced his wife's love of the craft and commitment to customer service. |
